We are a small family business trading for the last fifteen years from our bakery in Newcastle Under Lyme now producing a premier colour range of Sugar Paste. The paste is made by ourselves (Artisan Bakers) from scratch using only the finest ingredients, which we are currently supplying to professional cake decorators throughout Staffordshire.
We have produced a product that can more than satisfy the requirements of bakers currently using the market leader (Regalice) as one of the main complaints with Regalice is the product can be to hard to knead especially when cold. The icing sugar we use is specifically milled to an extra fine eleven microns to give a satin smooth finish and the Sugar Paste is supple enough to enable the user to massage with consummate ease to reactivate the gum tragacanth to give good elasticity and pinning out properties.
The paste dose not crack or craze when wrapped around corners. for craft work we do recommend the addition of Tylo powder or gum tragacanth which ever is your personal preference.
The sugar paste has a smooth porcelain like finish and with the addition of tylo powder can be used as a petal paste.
